CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Hello! As I mentioned before, I am studying odontology and I am in second year of my career, like everything in the life there are good and bad things and to be honest, I don't like it at all have to study online. I think I am lost part of the university life that I want when I was a kid. I just went to my first practice last month for the subject Simulations for professional practice and I love it, soon as we can I wish go in other opportunity because it's very necessary for the integration of the knowledge.

This year I have 6 subjects; the one that mentioned before, Scientific and Clinical Basis for Diagnosis, Psychosocial and Anthropological Bases of Health, Evidence-Based Dentistry, Health Promotion and Education, and English, I think everyone has it's degree of importance but I would change the time they are distributed, I would give more hours to the practice part of Simulations and least to promotion and anthropology because they're all very time-consuming.

Also I change academic load of the subject 'Diagnostic' because we have to study a lot of classes only for a little test and three more times for a unit test and that's really exhausted. With regard to teaching methods I would change the asynchronous lessons, I like them because they don't get so long but in my opinion, sometimes they are very monotonous classes

Time travel to the past

Do you remember the movie 'back to the future'? If I had a time machine like that I would travel to the past, exactly I would go to the year 2005 in Bulnes city because I would like to see my grandparents once again, they died in September, 2007 and I don't remember many moments with them, however the memories that I have are moments that I really enjoyed. I remember my grandfather mad at us because we stole the grapes and my grandmother always defended us. We went to Bulnes in vacation all the summers and we spent a lot of our time in a lagoon close of my grandparent’s house.

I love to see old photos in family albums and know the history behind each picture; if I had a time machine definitely I would go to the past and see every moment with my own eyes. I think I would choose to be just a spectator of the moment and I wouldn't change anything because I believe if I do it, I could be affect the timeline, how does it happen in the 'flash' series.

I would like to be a time traveler with my boyfriend and show him all the important and funny moments of my life, but what I would like the most is he would meet my grandparents.

My future job

I am currently studying odontology and to be honest I don't know exactly what I'll do in the future but I want to do a specialty related with my career. I was thinking something like an orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, or oral rehabilitation major. The option that more caught my attention is oral rehabilitation because I'm in love of the idea of bringing it back smiles in the people who need it. The oral rehabilitation specialty is responsible of diagnose a patient's dental problems and determine treatments for each case, it's so interesting the things I would do in this specialty because we are all different and have different dental needs so every case would be different

Also I have in mind to learn more about English language, and for that reason I would like to travel to another country to do my specialty if I'll have the possibility in a course completely face-to-face because I don't like it the online classes

 I’m planning to have my own dental clinic but first I would like to work in a public hospital and I would like to help people with few resources. The other day I saw a post who caught my attention, it was about a foundation called 'Fundación sonrisas', they travel through Chile doing dental health operations and I would love to do something like that in my future

WILD ANIMALS AND PETS

I consider myself a dog lover and I absolutely agree with John Grogan when he said, 'It is amazing how much love and laughter they bring into our lives and even how much closer we become with each other because of them', for everything he mentioned I think dogs makes the best pet but also, I want to have other pets like a cat, turtle, even I would have a ferret. If I could be an animal, I would choose to be a dog because they love unconditionally. 

The dogs are my favorite animal, but I love animals in general. I think the people should have a lot of cares and love of the animals but sometimes this is not like that, there are bad people who abuse of the animals, and I can’t stand them. In some cases, the Zoos are involved in animal mistreatment and for that I think it isn't right to keep animals in a zoo. However, I agree with the animal shelter when they receive animals that were abused or in danger of death. 

One time I have been bitten by a friend's dog, she warned me the dog would bite me if I to touch him, but I ignored her. It was a lesson for me hahaha. 

MY FAVOURITE CARTOON

 D'oh! I think that it's the most typical expression of Homer Simpson. The simpsons are always been my favorite cartoon,, when I was a child I watched it with my brothers every afternoon after the school. 

I like this cartoon because is funny to see how Homer or anyone of his family or his town always do a stupid thing or something without sense. I used to watch the simpsons a lot but now I only watch a stract of them in instagram acounts 

The cartoon is mainly about The Simpson family, they live in Springfield city. In the cartoon we can see people doing activities of daily living like go to school, work and church, but in each one always happen something funny, they have a particular type of humor who don't like to everyone, for example my mom really dislike them!

If I had more free time I'll definitely watch The Simpsons. I always annoy my older brother with Homer because I think they are very similar (sometimes my brother is very silly haha) and It's also his favorite cartoon. 

The best concert I've been to

  The best concert I have been to was a Justin Bieber concert, This was on november 12th of 2013 and it was my second one, the first was an amango concert.

The event was in National Stadium of Santiago, and it was called 'Believe tour'. I went with my aunt and 2 friends and the atmosphere was incredible insane; there were a lot of people singing at the same time, was full of energy. I was very emotioned during all the concert, it was an unforgettable experience.

Justin is my favorite artist since 2009 approximately, when I was young I was very obsessed with him, I listened every song of him and I learned all his biography 😅 I was really crazy! In the present also I listen his music but I'm not so obsessed with him like before

He has a wide musical career, even this year he released a very good album, which one of my favorite song is 'Unstable' I recommend you listen to it!. If Justin come again to Chile and I have money, I think i would go to a concert without thinking. 

A country I would like to visit

 'One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things’ I think that this quote of Henry Miller has a lot of sense. I had the opportunity of traveled to different places in Chile and each one has different architecture, cultures, landscapes, they do things in so many different ways and that's so interesting.

It's hard to say a specific place that I would like to visit, if it depended of me I would travel around the world... but if a had to choose one could be Israel. 

I'd like to visit Israel because they have a really interesting history and culture. I know that the city is known as the 'Promised land' or 'Holy Land', also I know there is an important Mesquita.

If I went there, I would like to walk around the places. In first place I'd go to the 'Mount of olives', then I would go to ' The wailing walls', 'The empty tomb and also I'd like visit 'The dead sea'. My parents have been to Israel and they told me it is worth visiting. However, I wouldn’t like to study or live there because I think they have many rules.
